RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT
|
- Around 3.500.000 protected monuments existing in our European cities are affected by graffiti.
- Actual anti-graffiti systems (permanent, sacrificial and hybrid) do
not fit the requirements needed to protect Cultural Heritage
- This project implies the making of a totally new formulation of one
chemical product to provide an anti-graffiti system compatible with
porous substrates of historic buildings
- Important industrial impact, having a strong influence in the market
share of a variety of industrial sectors (anti-graffiti manufacturers,
restorers, graffiti cleaners, etc.)
- Strong economic and societal impact – contribution to the benefit of
the European society by promoting the adequate conservation of Monuments and other Cultural Heritage
